Elke Lemmens and myself won the gold medal in doubles...
... right after I won the gold medal in singles.

My FIRST major win in ITF under 18 ... the Copacafe in Costa Rica, a G1
You would like to know a bit more about me?
Well, I am attending the tennisschool of the Flemish tennisfederation in Wilrijk near Antwerp, in Belgium.
It's my eighth year here now (and the oldest girl)and I am a senior, following Topsport-Languages courses in High School.
My days are mainly filled with attending classes, studying, practicing tennis, working out in the fitnessroom. That is, when I am not playing in a tournament of course.
I mainly play ITF under 18 tournaments now, Grades 1 and A. I also have played a few tournaments "with the ladies" this past year and was able to get my first WTA-ranking.
My main tenniscoach is Ann Devries; she has been a player on the circuit herself and helped Yanina Wickmayer - the 2nd highest ranked Belgian WTA player - 23rd at the moment - getting launched in the WTA circuit. Of course there are many other qualified people that help others in the academy and myself getting better in tennis.
I am an only child. My Mom and my Dad are both teaching at the time. Like me, they like to travel. So far I have been to more than 25 countries and I am planning to add some more this year!
Movies and reading are a few of my hobbies. But I prefer to play tennis... I just can't get enough of it.
